If only I had more hours in the day ....

Oh dear .... I have been VERY slack with my blog posts lately so I thought I better jump online while I have a sec and give you an update at what has been gong on at the eViE & hEnRy HQ's ...

Well as some of you may know already I have just stopped selling my dolls "made to order" as I have been in the past & my aim was to close shop for a few days to get all my stock up to date and then re-open ... well, this did not exactly go to plan and I have still not re-opened yet after a couple of weeks (apologies to anyone that is waiting to purchase dolls) ...

.... We have bub #2 due in about 4 weeks & I have been having awful sciatica & pelvic instabiltiy and not been able to sew ... but anyway I have just started to get back into sewing now & am hoping the get my shop re-opened with some new stock. I am slowly working through some limited edition dolls that I cant wait to introduce everyone to!!

Even though I have not gotten much sewing done I have not completely slacked off ... I have finally finshed the new baby's nursery (we have named him/her "Mini babe" for the time being) & I have finally finished Miss 20-month-olds new big girl room!!

This is "Mini Babe's" nursery ... I have loved being able to design a neutral room because with my first pregnancy we knew we were having a little girl! :)

And this is our little girls room ... the lay out of the room is a bit mucked up and as you can see the bed is in the wrong postion because a certain little Miss is very attached to her cot and I have had to try and fit that in as well some how.

But even though the lay out is not completely as I had pictured it I have pretty much finished it. I must say that I am pleased with the end result.

If anyone has any advice on how to get a nearly 21-month-old to start sleeping in a big girls bed I would really appreciate it!! Haha!! Here I was thinking that she wouldnt be able to resist sleeping in this gorgeous bed with the canopy & butterfly lights over it ... but I was very wrong indeed. I am hoping that we wont have to buy another cot before the new baby grows out of the bassinette anyway!!

Well ... now that you all know that I have'nt been completely slacking off I will sign off & get dinner ready so I can get some more sewing done ... and hopefully it wont be too long till the release of my limited edition dolls .... let's just say that there are some gorgeous "Amy Bulter" fabrics involved!!! :)

:) x
